Since every cake is unique and original, each cake will be priced differently, according to complexity and number of servings needed. Wedding Cakes start at $4.50 per serving but may go as high as $5.50, depending on the design. The same applies for special occasion cakes.
Since all the cakes are exclusive and original designs, the more notice, the better. It's recommended that a wedding cake be ordered as early as 6 months before the wedding. Minimum 4 weeks notice for catering events and one week's notice for special occasion cakes.
Rates for 2008
$4.50 per serving for a standard round, multi-tiered cake. Covered in fondant or buttercream. 1 flavour.
$5.50 per serving for standard round, multi-tiered. 2 flavours. Covered in fondant, buttercream or royal icing. Includes arrangement of fresh flowers if provided. Additional costs if flowers not supplied.
$6.50 per serving for ELABORATE cakes with fancy tiers and/or sugar flowers. Min. 6 weeks notice for cakes involving sugar flowers or other sugar decor.
Delivery and basic set up: $20 - $30 depending on destination.
Delivery with staged "deluxe" set-up: includes use of table, props, floral decor*, pick up of props after event. $75 (plus $100 deposit for equipment, refunded when props and equipment returned. *Additional costs for flower choice may apply.)
All cake orders require a 40% deposit due 2 weeks prior to the event. The remaining balance will be required at the time of delivery.
